Do you remember a short and insignificant episode in the past that put a smile on your face? The small things in life can really brighten a person's day - turn that frown upside down. It doesn't even have to be memorable or important; if it can make someone smile for even a second, it's worth it.
I remember back in the days I would talk with my Chinese friends and cousins for hours and go through album after album of pictures on cyworld. I remember all the cheesy, cute, funny, random pictures we came across, but one I can never forget. It was in an album filled with colorful ferris wheels with cute quotes photoshopped over them (cheesy, I know). I read one that said in Chinese: "However high happiness is, the ferris wheel is that high." It was such a cute quote and even if we didn't really understand it at the time, we just sat there, with smiles on our faces, enjoying the moment together. Now that I think back at it, the quote is really not the important thing, but the fact that it made us smile is what makes it memorable and forever etched in my mind.

I feel like I'm such a hypocrite sometimes, but that is truely what I believe in.
Last night, so many things happened with so many people. I've realized that I need to treasure the present and the past as much as I think about the future. Hopefully, I can look back at these blogs years later and laugh, smile, cry, reminisce at my college life (though half of it is already gone). Thanks big for helping me start one <3
