Week 4 of Autumn Term

I can’t believe there is only 6 weeks left of school. Time has flown by so fast!

I’m actually beginning to enjoy contemporary, the movements are all so pretty and I love floor work now that I didn’t wear shorts. It’s actually really graceful looking. Hopefully I look okay doing it…

Tuesday I went shopping for a bit for a Halloween costume, but haven’t really found one. I still don’t know what I’m going to be! After that, I went to street dance and caught up with everyone. They’re having a performance on Thursday, but I can’t go unfortunately.

Wednesday felt like a Friday (as always)! Since no one really had class, we went to watch Easy A at noon. The tickets were only 5 pounds and it was such a funny and cute movie, I loved it. After that, we went to eat Indian buffet, which is pretty much what I’ve been waiting for since the burger on Sunday haha. The buffet was delicious! I had so much naan I could barely walk in the end, and it was about 7 pounds. We then did some more shopping in preparation of our pub golf at night. Tiffany, Susana, and I bought the same matching polo at Primark for 3 pounds from the guys section. Lol, for some reason their XS is so small it fit perfectly on us! Below is our Indian Buffet and the inside of the movie theatre (was too lazy to turn the pic x.x)

Pub golf is such an interesting concept. It was the social for the mountaineering society. Because it’s during badminton hours, I couldn’t join, but I tagged along with Tiffany and Susana anyway. Basically what happens: There is a certain amount of holes (for us only 6, but it can get up to 18). Each hole is a different pub. At each pub, there is a par number, which pretty much tells us in how many drinks we have to finish the drink. The first pub we went to was King and Queens, which was par 4 for a pint of cider and beer. So you basically have to chug it down in less than 4. It was really hard haha but the hardcore people did it in one. I can’t even drink a pint of water that fast! Anyway, there was a lot of random drinks at those 6 pubs, I only participated in 3 of them because 1) I didn’t need that much alcohol 2) It was too expensive. We then headed to Oceana to end the night. And did I mention we were all dressed up as golfers? LOL it was a fun night.

Mmm late night cravings...

Thursday I got soo lost in Reading Faces for once, but that’s pretty much it. I went on a ghost tour at night and it wasn’t that interesting. She told some stories, but honestly I could’ve done better…

Friday I LOST MY STUPID BUS PASS!! Again…ughhh I’m so mad cause I wasted like 30 bucks worth of bus rides…and a week and a half that I could’ve gone out and done random stuff but instead need to pay more. Ahhh!! Oh well, I managed to borrow someone’s for today and go to Azda to buy lots of random things. Then at night I had a massive sandwich from the “tiger” bread thing, and it was delicious!

Halloween Weekend

Well, I didn’t do much these two days, partly because I’ve been so tired of going out all the time and didn’t have a costume. The British celebrate Halloween by dressing up as zombies or witches, nothing slutty at all, which is awesome. They’re actually quite scary too! On Saturday, there was a zombie march where everyone was covered in blood and walked like zombies around Brighton. We participated in 2 out of 3 flash mobs and it was so much fun! The first one was in Brighton Pier and the second was at Old Stein. I can’t wait for these videos to come out. Laura, Susana, and I stood out so much because we were dressed normal. Sadly, we lost Hyeji and Nguyen along the way. Oh, and I had a 2 pound Indian thing at the pier.

I feel like I’m getting old for some reason. There is a white night tonight, where pretty much a lot of random activities are going on at night and nothing closes. Instead, I didn’t feel like going out because I didn’t have a bus pass and I wanted to finish physics LOL I’m probably going to regret this later on.

But on the subject of Halloween, no big deal because every Wednesday is a Halloween in Brighton J
