一首简单的歌

写一首简单的歌,
让你的心情快乐
爱情就像一条河
难免会碰到波折
这一首简单的歌,
并没有什么独特
好像我
那么的平凡却又深刻

Day 7

The fruits here are so sweet, organic, and cheap. Love it.

It’s so weird that the September course is only 3 weeks, I feel like everything is due already. Our project on gender/social roles in popular culture is due Monday and I haven’t really even started it yet. There’s just been so much going on every single day that it’s hard to focus on school.

Our on-campus pub

There was a pub quiz tonight where my team and I pretty much failed so we gave up at the end. However, it was nice chilling at the East Slope bar. It had a nice atmosphere, I definitely want to go there when sports or soccer is playing, just gotta find someone who likes that as much as me haha.

After that, we went to a club called Oceana. I think the place had about 8 lounges and 2 dance floors so it was massive. I drank from a fishbowl LOL. The music they played, however, was British techno for the most part, which was a bit awkward to dance to. I like that the clubs here no one grinds, you just kind of do your own thing and it’s lots of fun. Note for the future (because we were a bit dumb): Never wear heels to that area again, the roads are horrible.

Day 8

Procrastination is so bad, especially when the weekend is planned with trips.

We went around Brighton to go shopping today and I bought a cute dress but it was 17 pounds = 30 dollars, so not too happy about the price. We wanted to go to more small street shops but we’ve been wondering around the mall and primart so much that it was already 6pm.

We were going to go to a “strip” club tonight, but it didn’t work out. Haha, guess I’ll get to see what it’s like when I turn 21 and go to Vegas…but now I have to add on more things to my list: gay bar and casino.

SO GOOD

Day 9

Stonehenge and Bath

Not much to be said but I’m glad I finally got to see Stonehenge! I’ve always wanted to go after seeing a documentary about it on Discovery Channel (I know, I’m a nerd).

Bath was okay, just because I’m not huge on architecture/art or anything like that, but I enjoyed that as well.

We got audio guides on all the tours, but I didn't listen to them. I'm so uncultured...

We went to a pub for lunch and this is what I got. I suck at trying new foods but I figured it was just pork. The meat was so fresh that some pieces had hair sticking out of it, which was a bit gross haha.

Shakeaway (http://www.shakeaway.com/subsites/uk/menu.htm) is pretty sweet, they have probably 100 flavors and you can pretty much make it with anything! I had one with Ferrero Rocher, they literally just put that and some other stuff it came with and blended it together. Honestly though, it's so cool. For the apple pie flavour they just put a slice of pie...

This was probably the highlight of my day.

Day 10

Seven Sisters

This is one of the most beautiful places I've been to in the world. With the ocean, sky, and green hills, I couldn’t have asked for more. The sight was just remarkable. In a way, it reminded me of Hawaii from what I've seen on TV. The history behind the seven sisters is that each of us can be traced back to one sister. We climbed seven cliffs and it was amazing.

We were basically hiking where the cows and sheep lived. I saw so many and they were just roaming around, minding their own business.

The walk was probably around 5 miles and I loved every part of it.
